Rob is a seasoned specialist in residential development whose expertise includes immediate land acquisition, strategic land options and funding for major schemes.
He has comprehensive experience of assisting Britain’s largest housebuilders in all aspects of real estate and planning, regularly project-managing sites from their acquisition through planning consent, assembly and site set-up to construction and plot sales.
During 25 years of specialising in the sector, Rob has worked in private practice and in-house with national residential developers and particularly with their Midlands-based operations.
His work typically involves coordinating teams of internal and external advisors from a wide range of disciplines, including planning, environmental, tax, corporate, banking and litigation, distilling their information and advice into legal documents which govern the funding, development and subsequent sale and occupation of new homes.

- Acting for a regeneration specialist in the sale of 4,000 new homes and the creation of a new settlement at Waverley, Rotherham.
- Acting for a national Plc housebuilder on the acquisition of land comprising an urban extension for new homes near Stratford-upon-Avon.
- Acting for land promoters who secured planning and subsequent disposal of a site in Warwickshire at record speed.
- Acting for a national Plc housebuilder on the acquisition of a residential development site in Redditch for approximately 200 new homes. The acquisition was conditional on planning and securing access to the property with complex infrastructure obligations and included overages and security arrangements.
