Fiona undertakes all aspects of insolvency and corporate recovery work with particular specialism in contentious matters.
Fiona has extensive experience of acting in contentious insolvency proceedings including cases involving allegations of fraud and breach of duty as well as the full range of office holders claims based on antecedent transactions and wrongful trading. She has acted for both office holders and former directors in bringing and defending claims.
On the regulatory side, Fiona also advises directors on proceedings under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986.

- Bringing claims against former office holders across a substantial portfolio of insolvency cases based on fraud and dishonesty following the collapse of a national firm of insolvency practitioners.
- Acting for the liquidator of a tier one automotive supply company in proceedings against its former administrators for breach of duty.
- Acting for the administrators of a major supplier of fresh produce to leading supermarket chains in successfully resolving claims by a producer consortium to a substantial payment out of the assets of the company in priority to the secured lender based on the administration expenses principle.
