Becky Ryding

Expertise

Becky advises trustees and employers of occupational pension schemes on all aspects of pensions law. Becky’s experience includes drafting pension scheme deeds and rules, advising employers and trustees on the interpretation of scheme documentation and assisting with communications to members. 

Becky has also provided advice on a number of pension surety bonds worth over £800m for multinational companies. As part of this work Becky has successfully lobbied the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) resulting in changes favourable to the surety market to PPF Guidance on Demand Guarantees. Becky has also delivered training to the Gateley Surety Academy on pension bond issues.

Becky is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and Secretary to the Pension Bond Association. She is also a Trustee Associate at Entrust Pension Limited, a leading independent professional trustee company which helps organisations operate their pension schemes effectively, and an accredited professional pension trustee.  Find more about this role here.
