Their challenge:
The CEO of a global Private Equity firm has set ambitious diversity targets – to increase the number of women in the investment team to 40% and to 20% in the senior team. How could they accelerate the development of the women in the organisation in order to meet these targets?
Our solution:
We designed and delivered a multi-cohort, multi-module programme aimed at giving the selected women the chance to explore their development and practise the skillsets required to navigate their professional context. We gave them the space to develop their leadership brand, learn to manage conflict and negotiate better as well as how to communicate more powerfully and influence people.
The impact:
The programme has helped increase the visibility of the women in the PE firm and highlighted the importance of having a dedicated approach to female leadership development so that the organisation is positioned better to deliver their ambitious diversity targets. The participants have reported feeling more confident and are already applying the skills they’ve acquired in their every day.
