London Borough of Brent: Alperton and Wembley Housing Zones

We advised the Council on the delivery of a £700m programme of residential-led, mixed use development across two major housing zone projects, both of which have been selected to receive funding from the Greater London Authority.

We provided strategic land assembly and compulsory purchase advice; in particular, advice pertaining to the Housing and Planning Act 2016 and implications of the Neighbourhood Planning Bill. We managed all aspects of both projects, overseeing the planning, business case development, and communication workstreams. We led consultation and negotiations on £20m+ of retail and commercial properties in Wembley town centre, and also led the engagement of stakeholders and accelerated the delivery of housing in Alperton.
