£87,000 raised at Childline charity ball
The NSPCC’s Glamour of Manchester Childline Ball has raised over £87,000 to help children and young people in need.
Famous faces such as Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson, ultra-runner Rob Pope, television and radio presenter Danielle Nicholls and her footballer husband Dean Holden were in attendance, making this a great night in the knowledge that as a gold sponsor we are able to make a difference. The night consisted of a silent auction as well as guests pledging to take part in the Manchester 10k run.
As a corporate partner of the NSPCC, we have been involved in various activities and events to help more young people get the support they need.
A spokesperson for the NSPCC said: “It was great to have Gateley onboard as a gold sponsor for our Childline Ball at the Midland Hotel, Manchester. We’ve had such amazing feedback from the night and are looking to plan a similar event again in the future. In addition to your support for the Ball, your wider ongoing support is very much appreciated and valued.
The children we work with will never be able to thank you personally for your contribution, so on their behalf please accept the grateful thanks of everyone at the NSPCC. You are helping us to keep more children safe in Greater Manchester and across the region.”
