Golden Greta: a win for our SportsAid athlete

Greta Roeser, our Guildford office SportsAid athlete, has won the 5000m canoe event at the Junior World Sprint Championships in Italy.

Greta put down a stunning display on the final day of competition to storm to gold, taking Britain’s medal tally to four for the World Championships. She powered over the line in a time of 26:38.78, 12 seconds ahead of the field to win her first World title.

Greta owes her success to the personal sacrifices and hard work that she commits to her sport as well as the support she receives from her professional and social network including our sponsorship facilitated through SportsAid.
