Giving UA92 students an insight into the professional services sector
In March 2023 Gateley welcomed three students from UA92 to our Manchester office for work experience.
The students had a busy week learning about the business and getting a better insight into the world of work including an introduction to Gateley, HR processes and learning more about our network groups
They also had the opportunity to talk to colleagues from different areas of the business to understand what they do and how they got into their roles as well as pathways into the legal and professional services industry.Â
On their final day, they focused on skills and tips that might be useful when applying or interviewing for jobs such as CV writing, assessment day tips and interview dos and don'ts.Â
The partnership between our Manchester office and UA92 sees us provide student bursaries, support their employee and student mentoring scheme as well as provide additional enrichment opportunities such as involvement in work placements.Â
