Celebrating Midlands Dealmakers shortlist success

Our corporate and banking teams are celebrating after being announced as finalists with six entries across four categories at the prestigious Insider Midlands Dealmakers Awards 2023. 

The awards are organised by leading regional business publication Midlands Business Insider to celebrate the best the region has to offer in dealmaking.

The team has been named as finalists for the highly coveted Corporate Law Firm of the Year award, while senior associate Alison Davidson-Cox has received an individual recognition in the Emerging Dealmaker of the Year category. The Midlands team has also been nominated for its work on four deals within the region.

Our contribution to the SME sector has also been recognised with two nominations received for the SME Deal of the Year category; the sale of Nowcomm to 4Net and MBO of Logik Logistics International. 

The team has also received an acknowledgement for their involvement in regional deals with two nominations for the ‘Deal of the Year’ award; NorthEdge investment into Friend MTS and the sale of Pirtek to Franchise Brands.

All of the finalists for the Insider Dealmakers Awards were selected by an independent judging panel and winners will be announced during the awards dinner to be held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Thursday 14 September 2023.
