Celebrating LGBT+ history month with the NSPCC

In February we worked closely with our charity partner, the NSPCC, to celebrate LGBT+ history month. 

Two separate webinars were hosted by Gateley Partner and Head of the Pride committee, Ken Titchen.

The two webinars were led by the Co-Chairs of PINCC, the NSPCC’s LGBTQ+ employee network, Mitch Price and Olivia Cellamare and Childline volunteer, Leighton Camara.

Our first webinar discussed some of the issues facing LGBTQ+ young people and how the NSPCC and Childline support every young child.

The second webinar explored the prominent (as well as more niche) LGBTQ+ figures and events throughout history while looking back at the LGBTQ+ trailblazers who fought for freedom and expression.

We also focused our fundraising activity to raise vital funds for the NSPCC through pride themed bake sales in some of our offices. 

The month was an excellent opportunity for everyone to come together and learn about LGBTQ+ history, icons, and the fight for equality.
