Beth Mather named ‘Changemaker of the Year’ at prestigious awards event

Beth Mather, partner and head of our national corporate team, was this week named ‘Changemaker of the Year’ at the prestigious Rainmaker awards ceremony at The Macdonald Burlington in Birmingham.

The awards are run by leading regional online business publication TheBusinessDesk.

This was the inaugural Rainmaker awards ceremony and was created to celebrate the deals, teams and individuals that have had the biggest impact in the Midlands region over the last 12 months. 

A true example of a Gateley ‘home grown’ success story, Beth joined as a trainee, rose through the ranks and became a partner in 2019. She was appointed head of the national corporate team in 2022 and is responsible for more than 95 people across Gateley.

Specialising in private equity, Beth enjoys acting for both institutions and management teams, has considerable corporate deal experience and is well known in the Midlands’ corporate finance market. 

Highly committed to inspiring and developing Gateley’s emerging talent, Beth is also an enthusiastic supporter of Women in Business and other community initiatives in the Midlands.
