Publication of third annual Responsible Business Report
Having achieved all 15 of our internally set responsible business targets in the past year, we have published our new and third annual Responsible Business Report, which is available on our website here.
Gateley’s Responsible Business Report outlines the actions the Group has undertaken in respect of its purpose – to deliver results that delight its clients, inspire its people and support its communities. The Group has set targets for the next 12 months to move the business forward in each of these areas and will measure performance on a quarterly basis.
Highlights from the 2023 Report, which covers activity during the financial year ended April 30 2023, include a new strategic partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK, a carbon reduction plan including a commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2040 with interim targets set by 2030, and the launch of an internal volunteering policy which provides regular opportunities for our people to volunteer with a number of the charity, sustainability and education partners we work with.
Rod Waldie, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
“I’m delighted to launch our third Responsible Business Report which outlines the results we have achieved during the last financial year, including achieving all 15 responsible business targets that we set for ourselves.
“As we look to the future we will continue to evaluate where we are effecting change and how we can improve and progress over time. Our new set of objectives focus on the wellbeing of our people, on being a force for good within the communities in which we operate, and by playing our part in protecting and repairing our planet. We acknowledge that there is more to be done, but I’m proud of the steps we are already taking to provide a positive and lasting impact in society.”
